Ballinamuddagh Stud is a breeding ground for producing quality bred Irish sports horses for showing, showjumping, eventing to leisure horses.
Situated in the picturesque sunny southeast Co. Wexford, Ireland. Ballinamuddagh stud is a family run farm which has been involved with horses for generations.
The farm has a variety of horses from brood mares to a selection of young horses, potential show jumpers, eventers, hunters, leisure horses and ponies available for sale.
We specialise in traditional
bred horses, Breeding top quality foals out of mares with focus on producing through a selection of the best bloodlines.
The Irish Sports horse is known to excel in show jumping, eventing and dressage. They are generally sensible, smart and sure-footed mounts,
with jumping ability and athleticism.

Off to A flying Start...
Ballinamuddagh Stud origninally bred flat breed horses and then crossed thoroughbred mares with Irish draught horses. Breeding and training top quality horses is in our blood.
All of our breeding stocks are selected for breeding quality horses with good conformation and breeding. We breed all our own stock and train many of our irish sports horses directly on site.
we have a selection of brood mares, half-bred mares and 3/4 brood mares. We also stock a range of horses and breeding mares from the following blood lines Clover hill, laughton flight, Erigal flight and Pride of Shaunlara.
Ireland is well known as being the birthplace of world showjumping and with the country’s long equestrian tradition it is not surprising that the Irish Sport Horse breed developed with an innate ability for the equestrian sports of showjumping and eventing. — Horse Sport Ireland
Based on a family farm with roots closely integrated in horse breeding and producing top quality horses working closely with horses on a daily basis has been an invaluable experience. Many of our Horses are for sale are progeny bred directly at Ballinamudagh Stud by Kennedys Clover (ISH) and or Gale Bust (TB).
International show jumper Kennedy's Clover (ISH) a fully approved stallion by the Irish Horse Board. Kennedy's Clover is son of the legendary Clover Hill. Dark Bay 16.2 1/2 hh Sire: Clover Hill, Dam: Faradiya (TB) by Rusticato. In his first year of showjumping in Ireland as a 4 year old Kennedys Clover notched up 45 SJI points with a 100% record. He was campaigned in Italy and competed up to 1.40m, one weekend in Abano Terme in Italy he competed at CSI*** level winning out two CSI*** event and second in another, retired early in his career due to injury. Progeny are performing at both showjumping and eventing such as Gorsehill Ziggy to BIG OWL who is bossing 1m45 This superstar schoolmaster has competed to 3* successfully. Kennedys Clover has also produced show horses which have won in the showing rings around the country.
GALE BUST (TB) a bay Thoroughbred Stallion 16hh by Aylesfield Dam: La Napoule by Lord Gayle. Producer of nice quality young stock. Sire of winning young horses in show classes and also working hunter classes. Progeny Toy Story IV successfully eventing in England. Mac Gilly Cuddy competing in Canada.
